I bought this book with high hopes, because Lindy cakes are so spectacular. But I was a little ‘disappointed. His specialty is the cake shaky as indicated on the cover, but I found her instructions were quite scarce. I have more on how you learned along the flaky pie free tutorials online, how the information contained in this book. I also think that photography was inadequate. All images of the building rickety cake from bottom to top on the top of the cake. This is not helpful to see how the cake is looking shaky side.
There are only 2 recipes included, one for chocolate cake and one for Madeira. Both recipes are presented in the form of graphs (use this amount of ingredients for this pie size) with another table for the addition of fruit.
There are a lot of instructions for the use of “cake jewelry” (wire and beads to decorate the cake) and specialty cookie cutters look great, but also an incredible amount of work.
There are complete instructions for decorating 15 different cake into 3 categories: round, square and creative (odd shapes).
All cakes are beautiful, but most seem very intimidating to try to do too much. But it is the title of this book ‘Cakes to Inspire and Desire “not to stir up” the cake in a few minutes. “And certainly inspired!

I bought this book, mainly because I also wanted to discuss how the cake “shaky or under it and get over it cake.” I was disappointed in the instructions for this particular cake. Can, however great the instructions on what the section for the production of jewelry, such as how to decorate cakes and make the cake, as another reviewer noted. Also, is that it shows in this book are on their website which is good, because I could not find anywhere else.
I was particularly disappointed because there is no time to wait until the book but the photos are beautiful and there are some great instructions, as some of the decorations, but the instructions I was looking for.
Toba Garrett hopes to go out with a book to discuss how this cake to make.

I love the cake in the books are great and creative, but the instructions are difficult to follow. They provide parts and leave out the illustrations are not always useful. Overall this is a good book and the cakes are definitely worth a try.

I expected more, like classes. The cakes are beautiful, but all very similar-looking sweet, was looking for more variety.

I think the instructions in this book are fabulous and very useful. I’m doing a decorator experienced (30 years) and cakes professionally. I learned some important techniques. The drawings are great and up-to-date with the latest requirements of customers.
